The love of God gives us access to the power of God. When that love is working in our hearts, we will see God’s power work through us in our lives. The power of God cannot show up without the love of God being in place. The only reason that we have ever seen God’s power is because of the tremendous love that He has for us in His heart.
Your faith isn’t complete without praise. Colossians 2:7 says that you abound in faith with thanksgiving. No thanksgiving equals not abounding in faith. Answer. The authority of the believer rests on the believer’s mandate to serve the Lord. When we are in God’s will, we can move with confidence that we are doing what is right and that the Holy Spirit’s power is at work within and through us. Some ministries emphasize the authority of the believer to an unhealthy and unbiblical extent.
How God Gives Us Power. Power comes from God to those of us who are followers of Christ and are on a journey to submit to him and bring out the truth of the Lord’s prayer, where it says, “Your will be done.”. Today, there’s a lot of wrestling over power. It’s in the background (and often times the foreground) of life and politics.

Instead, when we choose to tithe from our own free will, it releases God to be able to actively act on our behalf in two very specific ways. He can then open up additional heavenly blessings into our lives and our finances. And he can act on our behalf to prohibit the devourer from wasting away our finances.
This solution is not a vote of confidence in ourselves (as if our reading skills could ever overcome our fallen state); but in the word itself as God’s life-giving breath.
